I tried making my own 3d printed train whistle based on this prusa model. I made it in openscad so others could easily edit it, and I was hoping to be able to make 3-7 chimes parametrically.
This did not work. Everything looks right, but through the versions, no sound came out, save for one where it was the 5th harmonic rather than the 1st. This is really high pitched, and not like the original at all.
I leave this here for whoever wants to attempt this next. Hopefully someone can get this to work.
I built in PETG. Not sure if that was the problem.
